Columbus County, NC (WWAY) -- Some Columbus County schools will get a facelift, thanks to a 3.1 million dollar bond.
The school district recently received word it was one of four in the state to get a share of 12 million dollars. The money is part of the Qualified School Construction Bond program.
No projects are in place yet, but the school superintendent says the money will be used to renovate buildings.
The district will be responsible for paying back a maximum of 50% of the bond.
